What specialists want:
- full contextual information and site summary
- plans and photographs (?)
- basic quantification list of all finds
- well-packaged and labelled finds
- x-rays?
- discussion
- regular meetings for large projects
- not to feel isolated
- relevant research objectives for the site (if any)
- an agreed deadline
What to expect from specialists:
- specialist terms are OK
- a plain English summary of findings
- a background knowledge of archaeology
- interpretation of relevance to major site features or phasing
- a list of finds for illustration
- finds returned in good condition
- a report by the deadline
