This well-preserved circle consists of 19 granite stones, which are graduated in height with the tallest at the south-west, and is almost perfectly round. |

There is a gap at the east which may have been the original entrance, placed for the sunrise. |

The circle is also known as "Dawn's Men", but this is a corruption of the Cornish Dans Maen, or "Stone Dance". |
